As the issue is now out, I'm allowed to reveal my artwork was selected as the cover of
What the Dickens? magazine, in the creative teams' own words a '
bi-monthly magazine for writers, readers and all literary types'.

What the Dickens? Issue 2 cover |
WTD? Issue 2 focuses on the dual themes of
Charles Dickens and
Love. While the latter is a common theme for February due to Valentine's Day falling smack-dab in the middle of the month, Dickens-themed celebrations will also be seen throughout February due to the author's
bicentenary taking place on the 7th.
I was approached by WTD's lovely editor, Victoria, as my
Great Expectations themed-art was a sort of marriage (no pun intended) of the two themes.
A big thank you to everyone at WTD for this wonderful opportunity!
Today is 200 years since the birth of Charles Dickens so I thought I should pop in now the rush has died down and say a HUGE thank you for letting us use your gorgeous artwork for the front cover of the magazine!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazingly perfect! I have just tweeted and directed people here also. I've put it pretty much all over web and it is being admired over the globe...
Your a fantastic artist :)
Thanks so much again, I was delighted that you wanted to use my image as your cover!
